Dear Mr. Carroll:
This letter is to inform you that I Jill Louise Starr on this date of November 30, 1999, hereby formally appeal the decision rendered regarding my Civil Rights Case No. 02-99-2132 by the Office for Civil Rights (District II) in conjunction with the United States Department of Education against the New School for Social Research.
I. First and foremost the letter sent to me by John F. Carroll closing the this legal case has neglected to adequately address any of the macro substantive legal discrimination matters pertaining to the serious and ongoing disability and religious discrimination being committed against me by certain named administrators and professors of the New School for Social Research. This ongoing disability and religious discrimination constitutes gravely serious human rights, and also U.S. Federal Civil Rights Discrimination against a United States citizen, Miss Jill Louise Starr.
II. Furthermore, the Individuals with Disability Education Act, and also the Americans with Disabilities Act in addition to numerous other pertinent Federal and State laws, render all forms of disability and religious discrimination as being a very serious Civil Right violation. Moreover, these illegal discriminatory acts are still being committed against me by the New School for Social Research administrators and professors and such acts also constitute, according to both State and Federal U.S law, various U.S. Criminal Violations.
III The reason I allege this ongoing disability and religious discrimination is being committed against Jill Starr by certain named New School for Social Research administrators and professors constituting grave Civil Rights and Criminal Offences is first, State and Federal U.S. law renders it illegal for the New School for Social Research to accept Title IV moneys for student tuition if the school knowingly commits grave forms of emotional abuse and ongoing disability and religious discrimination against their students like the New School for Social Research continues to commit against Jill Starr.
IV. Therefore, I Jill Starr formally demand the legal decision rendered by the Office for Civil Rights in conjunction with the United States Department of Education (District II) in my Case No. 02-99-2132 undergo both a formal review and appeal process for the following reasons as stated herein this letter.
V. Neither Linda Reimer (Vice President of New School for Social Research Student Affairs), Dean McIntyre (New School for Social Research Dept. Dean), David Plotke (Political Science Dept. Chair), Eliza Nihcolas (Director of Student Affairs), Judith Frelander (Dean of Graduate Faculty Dept.), nor has Barbara Emerson (New School for Social Research Provost) or other administrators at the New School for Social Research given Jill Starr her legal student right to a University Wide Panel Harassment Hearing to try to informally resolve this case. My student right to have a University Wide Panel Harassment Hearing has been continually denied to me all Summer 1999. I am still denied the student right by New School administrative officials to such as hearing as explicitly stated in the New School for Social Research Student handbook. A University Wide Panel Harassment hearing is the last legal remedy as stated in the New school for Social Research Student Handbook which allows New School for Social Research students to try informally resolve their disputes and/or discrimination matters before they are forced to seek outside assistance from agencies such as the Office for Civil Rights in conjunction with the United States Dept. of Education.
VI. Granting any student claiming they have undergone religious, disability, grade, or any other forms of illegal civil right discrimination by any New School faculty member is part of the New School for Social Research Student and Faculty conflict resolution policies (please see the New School student handbook). In my (Jill Starr’s) ongoing disability and religious discrimination case, the Office for Civil Rights in conjunction with the United States Department of Education is aware due to the evidence I have sent to the OCR and in particular both Mr. Lew & Mr. Goldberg, that I Jill Starr am still being denied my legal student right by New School for Social Research administrators to have a University Wide Panel Harassment Hearing. This is only one of the many legal discrimination matters which was neglected to be either resolved or addressed in Mr. John F. Carroll’s letter to Jill Starr stating her Case No. 02-99-2132 is formally closed. This is all the more reason for which I, Jill Starr, now do here request an immediate appeal process in my ongoing disability and religious discrimination complaint against the New School for Social Research. The primary reason for which Jill Starr had to seek assistance from an outside agency such as the Office for Civil Rights and US Dept of Education in District II (NYC) for help resolving this ongoing discrimination case was my being denied to use my student rights at the New School to resolve the matter informally first.
VII. Furthermore, Jill Starr has in her possession numerous signed certified mail receipts from certain officials who are high-up on the hierarchical New School for Social Research administrative ladder. These receipts and the rest of the large amount of evidence against New School for Social Research administrators and professors in Jill Starr’s possession prove beyond any reasonable doubt that indeed on many occasions Jill Starr has formally requested to Linda Reimer, Barbara Emerson, Judish Frielander, Dean McIntyre, David Plotke, Andrew Brake (Eliza’s Assistant), and also to Eliza Nicholas and others including New School for Social Research Omudsman Pat Underwood (in the presence of both the Orthodox Church Archbishop and my other witness Arnold Stark Columbia Univ. Ph.D / professor) that Jill Starr is the only student known to date who has been denied her student right to appeal such grave forms of religious and disability discrimination (including inhumane forms of emotional human rights’ abuse) which have and continue to be committed against me by the New School administrators and professors in a University Wide Panel Harassment Hearing.
VIII. I, Jill Starr, allege the reasons for which I am being denied my Civil Rights, my Student Rights, and also my Civic / Political and Social / Economic Human Rights Research as constituted to the extent of even International and/or National Human Right Instrumental Law by both the administrators and professors at the New School for Social are the following:
First and foremost I allege the reason for which I am still being denied my student right to a University Wide Panel Harassment Hearing is because the New School does not want to make the emotional abuse, and also the ongoing grave forms of disability and religious discrimination being committed against Jill Starr, public. The New School I allege is fearful of the rest of the New School faculty members reactions if they discover what David Plotke and Dean McIntyre have conspired against me in this case. The New School as also I allege, would lose great deal of economic funding if Case No. 02-99-2132 went public to the American media and/or press. Therefore the New School for Social Research Administration I allege wants “deter” Jill Starr from pursuing her Civil Rights case against the school further because various New School governmental and private funding agencies or persons would not fund the school anymore if they knew how my Civil Rights were being abused by the school itself.
Furthermore, David Plotke Ph.D (Professor / Chair of the Political Science Dept at the NSSR Graduate Faculty Division of Political Science) committed a serious criminal offense against Jill Starr on April 22 1999. David Plotke at about 5:30 pm on April 22 1999 when Jill Starr refused to accept David Plotke’s “bribery attempts” to “cease being a student of the NSSR” without going to agencies for assistance like the Office for Civil Rights and the US Dept. of Education in District II came towards student Jill Starr, a permanently emotionally and physically (See my Social Security Renewal Report this past Spring 1999) with his red “swiss army knife” pointed directy at me! I have stated prior and I state again that I Jill Starr will gladly undergo a LIE DETECTOR TEST TO PROVE I SPEAK THE TRUTH IN THIS CASE NO. 02-99-2132. I SWEAR THAT IT IS TRUE THAT PROFESSOR AND CHAIR DAVID PLOTKE CAME TOWARDS JILL STARR (A PERMANANTLY DISABLED STUDENT) WITH HIS RED SWISS ARMY KNIFE WHEN HE BECAME ANGRY THAT I WOULD NOT ACCEPT HIS BRIBERY ATTEMPTING TO GET ME TO LEAVE THE NSSR. I DOUBT DAVID PLOTKE WILL TELL YOU THAT HE WILL TAKE A LIE DETECTOR TEST BECAUSE HE IS A LIAR AND HE DID WHAT HE DID!
Hence, I further allege the New School for Social Research and David Plotke in particular continue to deny Jill Starr her legal Civil Rights because they do not want others (faculty members or American Media) to really know the truth about what Jill Starr would tell them publicly about the behavioral deviance emanating from the New School Ph.D. Professor named David Plotke. Therefore, I demand an appeal by the OCR in reference to me Case No. 02-99-2132. I am being denied resolution by the NSSR faculty because in a University Wide Panel Harassment hearing I would tell the embarrassing truth about the NSSR continued discrimination committed against me.
The OCR and the US Dept. for Education completely neglected to address the Federal Legal issue and illegal action committed by New School for Social Research Director of Student Affairs, Ms. Eliza Nicholas (who by the way I filed a complaint against and it was never resolved either by the New School Chair David Plotke—yet Dean McIntyre conspired with Eliza Nihcolas in deciding not to sign the necessary paperwork which would have allowed me to take classes at Montclair State University this past summer (see evidence in the e-mail).I told Dean McIntyre that any collaboration with Eliza Nicholas whom I filed a New School complaint against for her emotional abuses hurled at me was a direct conflict of legal interest, and it also is not ethical).
Eliza Nichols (NSSR Student Affairs Director) called my doctor Charlotte Piuck against my explicitly wishes expressed. Eliza Nicholas committed what constitutes an illegal act and a FEDERAL CRIMINAL OFFENSE by calling my psychiatrist Dr. Piuck against my expressed desires. Hence, I demand the OCR and the US Dept. of Education formally accept this appeal in the Case No. 02-99-2132 because Mr. John F. Carroll neglected to address this serious discrimination issue emanating from Eliza Nicholas and her other grave emotional abuses which she directed towards me on March 30 1999 (the OCR letter has an incorrect date on it please correct).
Although the OCR stated in their letter to Jill Starr that they are pursuing my Civil Rights Case based on the illegal actions committed by Student Affairs Director Ms. Eliza Nichols who called my doctor without my explicit permission as the original reason the OCR and the US Dept. of Education was going to pursue my discrimination case against the NSSR (SEE OCR LETTER SENT TO ME THIS SUMEMR 1999). John F Carroll failed to address this issue whatsoever in his so quickly closing my Case No. 02-99-2132. I hereby appeal his formal decision.
Eliza Nichols called my doctor and tried to coerce her into saying that the reason why David Plotke came towards Jill Starr on April 22 1999 with his RED SWISS ARMY KNIFE was due to my being “dangerous”. Dr. Piuck(ONE OF OTHER WITNESSES IN THIS LEGAL DISCRIMINATION MATTER) told Eliza Nichols that “Jill Starr is not dangerous at all” (Please see numerous evidence Mr. Lew told me today he has and also John Carroll). I allege the reason Eliza committed this illegal and mindless act against Jill Starr was to: a) Keep her job, and b) act as the “hatchet women so David Plotke would not get stuck doing his toss Jill Starr out of the New School dirty work himself as he did anyway on April 22 1999.
The OCR and the US Dept of Education also failed to address Dean McIntyre, David Plotke, Linda Reimer, Judith Frielander, Barbara Emerson, and also Professor Pollis’s continued disability discrimination being committed against me. Linda Reimer lied. Linda Remier has failed to “correct the administrative error of providing Jill Starr with her legal student right to resolve the religious discrimination committed against her by Professor of History Louise Tilly in an informal meeting with Professor Tilly). The evidence I forwarded to the OCR explicitly proves beyond reasonable doubt that Jill Starr was lied to and discriminated against on the grounds of her Orthodox Christian religion by New School History Professor Louise Tilly (See Orthodox Church letter to OCR).
Linda Reimer told AN ADITIONAL WITNESS IN MY DISCRIMINATION CASE NO. 02-99-2132 Mr. Arnold Stark (Columbia University scholar / professor in the tri-state area) that Jill Starr’s physical and emotional disabilities would in no manner be accommodated by the NSSR which constitutes a further Civil Rights Offence against me. Arnold Stark is my witness in this legal matter as is the Archbishop, and also my doctors against Louise Tilly, Professor Pollis, Linda Remier, and also Dean McIntyre. All my witnesses read my doctors letters requesting the New School for Social Research accommodate my disability (the same physical and emotional disabilities) that David Plokte told me in his office on April 22 1999, that were not “up for discussion” when Jill Starr told David Plotke that the reason her GPA had dropped was directly linked to his refusing to either consider or “accommodate my disabilities.” David Plotke also to told me on April 22 1999 that he would refuse to address the issue of my alleged Louise Tilly ‘religious discrimination’ I claim she committed against me.”
David Plotke and his named collaborators (McIntyre in particular) refused to either admit I was disabled even after I showed Professor Pollis and others my Social Security Letters stating to contrary, or accommodate my disabilities as my doctors asked.
Let it be known that my doctor told Dean McIntyre and the New School for Social Research Administration and professors who all knew since (Fall 1997) when Lance Fletcher spoke via the telephone to Professor Pollis and also professor Nancy Fraser, that I am disabled and necessitate certain accommodations for my disability as my doctor has designated. Let it be further known that Nancy Fraser and Professor Pollis and also David Plotke and Louse Tilly all knew and Professor Pollis even spoke to my Dr. Piuck since Fall1 997 and on more than one occasion. I did not know a lot about graduate school formalities, I asked if I needed to file any special papers about my disabilities to members of the New School faculty including David Plokte’s Secretary and others who never told me it was necessary to state formally I was disabled until Eliza told me on March 30 1999 during her emotionally abusive session of trying to act as “hatchet woman” for David Plotke”.
I told my professors that I have an attention deficit, that I am on various medicines, and about my life ans especially Professor Pollis who I felt the most close to. Professor Pollis even refused to give me the EXACT DISABILITY ACCOMODATIONS THAT I NECESSITATE AND SHE TOLD MY WITNESS AND FRIEND ARNOLD STARK THIS AND THER THINGS WHICH ARE DISCRIMINATORY ON THE PHONE WHEN THEY SPOKE ABOUT ME THIS PAST SPRING / SUMMER 1999. Therefore, I Jill Starr formally appeal the decision rendered by the OCR and the US Dept. of Education and request further reviews in Case No. 02-99-2132.
Furthermore, Professor Adamantia Pollis stated that although she is not a doctor, she refuses to accommodate my “physical and emotional disabilities”. Professor Pollis has also refused to accept many rough drafts of my ‘Re-Thinking Development Paper’ this past Spring 1999. She has repeatedly told me that she does not understand my writing. Professor Pollis who has been my professor since Fall 1997 (human rights) has also acted extremely evasive when ever I approached her this past Spring for the first time ever.
Professor Pollis has never prior had any problems understanding my writing until the Chair of Dept. David Plotke committed his seriously criminal and illegal actions against me by his tossing me out of the NSSR against my will illegally and prior to when he stated I should graduate this past Spring 1999 (see several letters of Plotke and Tilly).
My doctor has written letters about the exact “accomodations” that I need for both my back and my other problems such as writing 5 smaller papers in lieu of one 30 page large one and Professor Pollis told my WITNESS ARNOLD STARK IN A PHONE CONVERSATION THAT Jill does not need to work for the NSSR in the summer 1999 (which I did because I was starving because of being denied my human social-economic labor right by the NSSR because David Plotke threw me out of the school and I was not allowed to register for any classes or work for the school all summer 1999).
Professor Pollis also told Arnold Stark that Jill Starr does not need the exact accommodations that her doctor recommends! Professor Pollis stated to my witness that and she still refused to abide by my doctors wished as of this date of November 22 1999. I have asked Professor Pollis to give me the necessary accommodations my doctor has asked her to for my disability, yet she has still insisted that I try and for her a very large 30 page paper for her so that I will not fail my class that she gave me an “incomplete” in Spring 1999.
Professor Pollis has acted completely “Emotionally Indifferent” to my doctors requests to accommodate my disabilities. I hereby request the OCR to accept my appeal in Case No. 02-99-2132 upon this additional reason.
Dr. Piuck told PROFESSOR ADAMANTIA POLLIS that I was not dangerous at all this past Spring 1999. Professor Pollis also spoke to Dr. Piuck after Eliza Nicholas emotionally abused me on March 30 1999 to confirm that I had no “behavioral problems in / out of Professor Pollis’s class because I told my doctor how upset I was about Eliza Nichols abusive behavior.
Dr. Piuck and Professor Pollis spoke in Spring 1999 as I was standing present listening to their phone conversation. Dr. Piuck is my witness to attest to the fact that Professor Pollis told Dr. Piuck on the phone when my doctor her if I had any behavioral problems all, “NO”!
Dr. Piuck asked Professor Pollis in that PHONE CONVERSATION WITH ME PRESENT AND LISTENING THAT I JILL STARR HAVe NO BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS IN E-MAILS O RIN PROFESSOR POLLIS’S CLASSES WHATSOEVER!
THEREFORE IT APPEAR THAT PROFESSOR POLLIS DUE TO ORGANIZATIONAL PRESSURES IS LYING TO THE OFFICE FOR CIVIL RIGHTS IN HER INTERVIEW WITH THEM BECAUSE SHE IS VERY SCARED THAT SHE MAY LOSE HER JOB SINCE SHE IS NOT A TENURED PROFESSOR AT THE NSSR WHICH IS WHY I ALLEGE SHE LIED TO THE OCR AND TOLD THEM THAT I HAD BEHAVIOR PROBLEMS IN HER CLASS WHEN SHE TOLD MY DOCTOR OTHERWISE.
DEAN MCINTYRE DENIED ME MY HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS TO TAKE COLLEGE CLASSES AT BOTH THE NEW SCHOOL AND ALSO MONTLCAIR STATE UNIVERSITY THIS PAST SUMMER 1999. For this reason I am seeking an appeal in the Case No. 02-99-2132 because the OCR and US Dept of Education neglected to address this discriminatory abuse directed at me this past summer by Dean McIntyre.
The discriminatory actions committed against me by the NSSR professors and administrators in this Case no 02-99-2132 has damaged me greatly I both financial and emotional pains. Since I was accepted into the MSU graduate department this past summer 1999 as a student, it appears Louise Tilly (NSSR History Professor) was lying in her claiming by failing me in a required class on a 35 page paper that I am some type of “historical student failure.” (see Bishop’s letter to OCR)
Pat Underwood (New School Ombudsman) told my witness Arnold Stark when he accompanied me to pick up my refund check from Linda Reimer this past summer 1999 that “some people around the NSSR need to retire so to speak as she threw up her hands in total disgust because the NSSSR administrators such as Dean McIntyre were completely impeding all of her efforts to help Jill Starr informally resolve her legal matter before Jill Starr was forced to go to the OCR for help.
Dean McIntyre has been both emotionally abusive and he has caused me an UNTALLYABLE AMOUNT OF EMOTIONAL ABUSE AND HARM THIS PAST SUMMER ALONG WITH THE OTHER NAMED NEW SCHOOL FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH DISCRIMINATOR ADMINISTRATORS! Dr. Piuck and numerous evidence I have here IN MY OWN possession that I sent to the OCR explicitly attests to this fact that I should have the right to appeal the decisions the OCR made about Dean McIntyre because the man acted directly against my doctors “good and wise advice” and McIntyre refused to allow me EVEN PAY WITH MY OWN CASH FOR EVEN ONE FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS AT THE NEW SCHOOL FOR SOCIAL RESEARCH or any of its departments like Parsons).
Dean McIntyre also told Arnold Stark my witness that he would “not budge” in accommodating my disability most likely he like Professor Pollis is scared from pressure above them they will be fired if they assist protecting Jill Starr’s Civil Rights.
AND I AM THE ONLY RESIDENT NOT ONLY IN NYC, BUT ALSO IN THE WORLD, WHO IS DENIED THE HUMAN CIVIL RIGHT TO PAY AND ATTEND A NEW SCHOOL FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASS WITH THEIR OWN CASH! THE NEW SCHOOL EVEN PLACES ADS IN THE NY TIMES & ALSO IN THE SUBWAYS IN NYC BUT THEY WILL NOT ALLOW JILL STARR IN THE BUILDING!!!
I AM BEING CONTINUALLY DISCIRMINATED AGAINST ALSO BECAUSE DEAN MCINTURE HAS DENIED ME (AND HE STILL DOES) ANY ACCESS TO THE NEW SCHOOL LIBRARY AND LECTURES AND THIS IS MORE DICRMINIATION.
I CANNOT COMPLETE PROFESSORS POLLIS’ CLASS DUE TO DEAN MCINTYRE’S DISCRMIINATORY “SECURITY GUARD SCHEME”!
McIntyre says in a letter (more evidence) that Jill Starr is NOT ALLOWED ON CAMPUS OR EVEN TO THE BATHROOM WITH BEING ACCOMPANIED BY NEW SCHOOL SECURITY GUARDS. THEREFORE I APPEAL THE OCR DECISION FOR NEGLECTING TO ADDRESS THIS DISCRIMINATION BEING COMMITTED AGAINST.
Dean McIntyre has not only caused me an uncountable amount of emotional and discriminatory abuse, he has now caused me to get into more unnecessary debt by my having to attend Montclair State University while the OCR resolves this case no 02-99-2132 so Jill Starr will not default on her student loans in the meanwhile and have her life totally ruined!
ANOTHER WITNESS IN THIS CASE THE ARCBISHOP OF THE ORTHODOX CHRISTIAN UKRAINIAN CHURCH, AND ALSO THE JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP POLICE AND OTHERS ATTEST TO THE FACT THAT BECAUSE THE NSSR REFUSED TO ACCOMMODATE MY EMOTIONAL DISABILITIES BUT INSTEAD ABUSED MY HUMAN RIGHTS AS MUCH AS THEY COULD SINCE APRIL 22 1999, (and tried to get away with it)..
..and particularly DEAN MCINTYRE WHO TOYED KNOWINGLY WITH JILL STARR’S EMOTIONS (a person with a serious history of mental depression) MCINTYRE ALL SUMMER 1999 TOYED WITH MY MIND AND I WAS SO DEPRESSED BY HIS DISCRMIINATION TOWARDS ME THAT I ALMOST COMMITTED SUICIDE!
For these reasons, and many others which I can prove, I ask the OCR to review and accept my appeal due to the ongoing and vile civil rights abuses still being hurled at me since April 22 1999 when DAVID PLOTKE STATED THAT JILL STARR’S DISABILITIES “WERE NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION” AND THREW ME OUT WITHOUT ANY WRITTEN WARNING AND WITHOUT ANY SUSPENSION ETC.
I continue to undergo grave forms of disability, religious discrimination and emotional abuse by New School Facult. My Student Rights, and also both my social / economic human rights are (and have been) seriously violated. Hence I ask the OCR and the US Dept of Education to pursue the culprits of this vile abuse and discrimination being committed against me.
I ask the NSSR give me the right to complete my MA degree by making the New School discriminators give me the proper and correct adjustments that I have requested. I do not want Professor Pollis to grade my Political Development paper, SHE CANNOT BE TRUSTED SINCE SHE COLABORATES WITH PLOTKE AND THE OTHERS WHO MAY FIRE HER AND FOR THIS REASON I ASK THE OCR TO HAVE A NEUTRAL PARTY GRADE MY PAPER WHEN IT IS DONE SO I DO NOT FAIL HER CLASS.
I also ask for monetary settlement form the New school because of the serious emotional abuses and damages (also the monetary ones ) they have caused me. My health and emotional condition has greatly diminished as my doctor warned Dean McIntyre it would if I was thrown out of school by Plotke and discriminated against in the way I was. Not one administrator or professor knowing about my case at the NSSR is attempting to resolve it.
I am in over $80,000- (about that in debt ) to the US Federal Government because I took out federal loans which are still being abused (TITLE IV MONEIES) by the NSSR in its continued discrimination being committed against me. This is why I am appealing this case no 02-99-2132.
There are many other reasons of abuse also not mentioned in this letter herein. If the NSSR agrees to an equitable monetary settlement for the untallyable amount of discriminatory abuses and monetary disasters they have caused me in addition to giving me the appropriate academic adjustments I have rightly requested from them for my disabilities by Federal Law, I will sign a paper not to pursue this case after the OCR has resolved it.

I ask all my diplomatic contacts around the world not to give Hillary CLinton one shred of international respect until she objectively manifests she WILL settle my lawsuits equitably wherein I have been abused, beaten by American police, tortured and discriminated against right here in West Milford and Bloomingdale, New Jersey in the USA.

Including being held against my will and rights at Ramapo Ridge Secret American Military Tribunal located in Wykoff NJ covertly disguised as a psychiatric hospital including in which I had to stand before its first floor judges in long black robes , and, jury including attorneys to be released!

I called numerous times leaving Hillary CLinton’s campaign offices in Manhattan messages to help me during the time in which she was running for NY Senate Seat. I told her leaving no detail out how I was being discriminated against (disability) in NYC. She is in bed with my former professors and the Teacher’s Union Liberals!

I cannot afford to send my daughter to college and she is in South Korea attempting to get into and pay her way through the University in Seoul South Korea one of the top 50 universities in the world where she desires to study political sociology and because I have not received a settlement after ten years now not only is my daughter being held back from being a productive member of US society, this could happen to any other American citizens’ child!

In reference to question number one (a) in your letter, here is my response.. I have been disabled since 1986. In 1983, I went out to California with my child Irwin Starr after I graduated High School in W. Milford with a home tutor. I went out with my now ex-husband to go to college in San Jose. I was both emotionally and physically abused by my former husband both out in
California, and, after I returned to New Jersey in 1990. In California in 1986, I gave birth to my second child who was not of my husband. I had tremendous guilt and became deeply depressed and suicidal at that time. Since my husband used cocaine and other illegal drugs, I became more and more nervous and also became extremely anxiety stricken which I am unto this day (1999).. I was
hospitalized in California 2 times in late 1986s for both suicidal feelings and anxiety. I have been on the same medicines since that time pretty much. I was forced by my ex-husband in mid June of 1990 to re-locate to New Jersey under duress. I started working in NJ for a law firm and tried to do my best to care for my two children. I could not stand my ex-husbands drug and
alcohol abuse in NJ and wasting the family monies on drugs. My anxiety and depression worsened. My husband at that time did not have a license and he also allegedly was having an affair with my sister-in-law. I finally broke down emotionally and told him to “get out” in the late summer of 1990. I was also VERYMUCH SEXUALLY ABUSED BY MY ex-husband! He used to force me to take pills
and drink. If I did not do all that he told me to, he would threaten to take my 2 children away from me time and time again. I would wake up and find myself handcuffed to the bed, or worse. My children would come to me and say “mommy mommy are you Ok”. I cannot speak more about this as I feel depressed, I love and I miss my two children whom I have never seen again! I was young and
naïve and I thought to drop my 2 children off with my ex-husband temporarily at their grand-mothers house in NJ (my ex-husbands family). I thought that this would be best for them since I was too nervous to either work or feed them. I thought that I would be allowed to see them again after I looked into welfare and disability. My husband used my disability against me many ties in a
court of law. He told the judges on more than one occasion (the case has gone on since 1990 and I finally gave up since my 2 children are so brainwashed against me anyway now and I am sad to even speak of this here) in both Morris and Passaic County’s at that time that I was too “crazy and disabled” and also I was on too many “medications”, to take care of my children. I lost
custody of my two children at that time and thereafter. I tried to return to live with my ex-husband many times up unto 1992 and I could not take his abuse anymore!
I always tried to stay with him so that I could be with my two children since he always threatened to take my children away from me at any time I did not listen to him! He was a black man he used to always tell me that he only wanted to marry, me, a white woman so that he could get back at white persons for at one time putting his family into Southern slavery! I fell into even an
even worse depression. I have only seen my 2 children one & ½ hours in about nine years! I was so depressed (I have proof) I have been on Social Security, PADD program and Lifeline in NJ-USA) since I had to give up my job in the summer of 1990 for Sobel and Lyon law firm. I was so depressed and anxiety stricken in the early 1990s I had to lived in a battered woman’s shelter, called
SOS/ Strengthen Our Sister in West Milford for over a year. I had to live there until I finally was able to begin receiving my permanent Social Security payments which went back to about 1990 (SSA gave me back pay in one lump check for about $8500-). The SSA Administration decided that my permanent disability started in the very early 1990s, I forget the exact date. I have been on
many medications and on SSA ever since. I have severe depression, anxiety, and an attention deficit which makes my speech and writing scattered with increasing anxiety. I however understand all that I read, in my minds eye as is evident since I have graduated with both national and international honors in 1997.
I just have trouble expressing myself in words and writing. I just had a review by the Social Security Administration and I now have a physical disability as well. This is my severe back pain. I have a protruded/slipped disk (I had MRI) since I fell after I graduated in 1997. I have been to Saint Barnabus Hospital the Pain Management Center but I can no longer afford the fees. I see
both a Chiropractor and if necessary, Orthopedic for medication. I cannot afford to even go to the necessary physical therapy which is why I am so concerned about working for the college (New School) like I did last year as a research assistant. I hope this answers the first part of your request. If you need anything more, please advise and thank you very much. I’ll get to the other
parts soon.
PS: I forgot to mention that I worked as a volunteer to stop many drug dealers who sold dope to our nation’s children in both NY & NJ. When I found out that the very undercover detectives that I worked and who said they were my friends were selling dope and were also allegedly involved with organized crime cartels, they beat me up and tried to kill me! The last incident was exactly
this and it happened in front of my two children in 1992, September. At that time the Passaic County Courts would NOT EVEN investigate my allegations that I was bruised and beaten-up brutally and almost killed, by the W. Milford Police! My children know I speak the truth. This is one reason the police up here tried to sever me and my children from me and said that I was “a
nut-case’. This truth came out in one session that I had with my children in 1997 in Wayne NJ. The last time I ever saw them again! In 1992 these corrupt cops here assisted my ex-husband (although I was living with him at the time and had joint custody rights to my 2 children) in taking my children from me and saying that I was ”crazy” so that to make sure that I would never able a
competent witness to testify against these still rotten-to-the-core cops up here if they were ever persecuted for their crimes. I lost all that I had. The W. Milford cops would not even allow me to go back and take me clothes and my computer. I became a refugee in my own country and almost starved on the streets! The cops in West Milford then told all the drug dealers that I
assisted in having arrested that I helped with the investigations! They tried to be rid of my any way they could! I got worse and more scared, paranoid, depressed, and anxiety stricken!
I then tried to go back to school and I vowed to commit myself to studying criminology and sociology so that I may one day understand why “cops go bad” as they did in my life! I thereafter resumed my studies the best that I could, here I am today. I have ever since been dedicated to fighting against social injustice , even if I am hated! This is because what I have been through. I
have been told that I should write a book, or have a movie about my life , something like “Deep Cover” if you remember that movie about Bush’s DEA scam! No one ever believed me, a woman on disability in the early 1990s when I claimed cops here tried to kill me and beat me! I saw the Harvard made film ‘Still Killing Me Softly”, and we know now that many women suffer in jail for
trying to protect themselves from abusive men like my ex-husband. I returned to the “Jill Starr” I always was inside and now I live a very religious, moral, yet a very lonely isolated life. My studies and my love for social justice keep me going. There is more to tell about me, but I cannot speak of it without feeling depressed. I want to finish my schooling because I believe one
day my children will need me, I want to be there for them. I want persons to respect me and believe that I am normal. I have internalized the labels cops and others have tried to pin on me for many years and I am scared and nervous always! I am always scared that the cops still try to kill me since I live in this town and have a lot of information!
